Scholarships

"I arrived at the conference excited for a career in family medicine, and the weekend only deepened my enthusiasm and commitment to the field."
We ensure the future of Family Medicine by supporting student and resident interest and involvement in the specialty. To that end, the KCAFP sponsors students to attend the AAFP National Conference of Family Medicine Residents & Medical Students and the AAFP Family Medicine Experience.

So far in 2016, KCAFP has provided over $3,000 in scholarships to medical students to attend national conferences.
"This conference not only re-affirmed my previous perception of family medicine, but it also added a new perspective that got me even more excited about the specialty"
