A. Carroll Haymon MD is a Family Physician and Geriatrician who has spent her 20+ year career as a practicing Primary Care physician primarily serving older adults. She spent 10 years as Clinical Faculty and Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Director at Swedish Medical Center (Swedish First Hill); then 8 years as a PCP, Regional Medical Director, and VP of Clinical Services for Iora Health, a national value-based primary care organization for patients on Medicare. Today, she is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Veronica Health, a new medical group providing specialty dementia care for patients with cognitive impairment and their families.
Away from work, Carroll enjoys hiking and biking in the great Northwest – and anywhere else where there are good trails and interesting food. She is mother and stepmother to four wonderful young adults. She is pleased and grateful to have friends who still laugh at her jokes. Together with her husband (and lead guitarist) Dr Joe Breuner, Dr Jorge Garcia, and Dr Chris Vincent, Carroll was a founding member of the Swedish Residency rock band, Plan B; and has been lucky enough to make music with many local family physicians and KCAFP members over the last 20 years.
